Hustain Nuruu National Park & Kharkhorin – Begin your thrilling journey to the untouched corners of Mongolia’s west. Marvel at the majestic wild horses in Hustain Nuruu National Park before heading to the historical Kharkhorin town, where we’ll nestle into cozy gers for the night.
Erdene-Zuu Monastery & Gurvan Davaa Pass – Explore the stunning Erdene-Zuu Monastery, a masterpiece of classic Mongolian and Tibetan art, before getting blessed by Baasan Lama at Bat Erdene-Zuu temple. Post lunch, we hit the road for Tsetserleg town, setting camp amidst the lush greenery of Gurvan Davaa Pass.
Zavkhan Province & Tosontsengel Town – Continue westward, traversing the picturesque landscape to reach Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake and Zavkhan province. Our day ends in the quaint Tosontsengel town, camping beside the serene Ider river.
Ulaagchiny Khar Lake – Venture southwest to the splendid Ulaagchin Khar Lake, stopping at Yaruu village. The day’s highlight is camping near the pristine lake, surrounded by sand dunes.
Khyargas Lake – Journey through the vast steppes of Western Mongolia, visiting local nomad families and historic deer stone monuments. We set up camp next to the impressive Khyargas Lake, one of Western Mongolia’s largest.
Ulgi Town – After a day of traversing the Mongolian wilderness, unwind at a private camp near the Khatuu River in Ulgii town. Experience the captivating Eagle Hunters Festival preparations while basking in the natural beauty around.
Horse Ride with Eagle Hunters – Join the Eagle Hunters on a thrilling horse ride, witnessing authentic eagle hunting. Return to the ger camp for another relaxing night.
Back to Ulaanbaatar – We return to Ulaanbaatar, relishing a sumptuous dinner at a popular city restaurant and resting at the Novotel Hotel.
Ulaanbaatar Exploration – Enjoy a leisurely day exploring Ulaanbaatar at your own pace. We reconvene for a delightful group dinner.
Farewell Mongolia – After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to the Land of the Eternal Blue Sky. We’ll transfer you to the airport for your journey home, filled with unforgettable memories of your Mongolian adventure.
